Are You Ready for the Next Big Storm
Are you and your family prepared for the next Big Storm? ... One which could cause power outages, flooding, strong winds, downed trees, and spawn tornadoes? Storms are not picky, they strike any where at any time. It's Hurricane season again, but don't think you are safe just because you might not be close to the coast. Take charge today, be ready for tomorrow... you'll be glad that you were prepared!   Have a Family Disaster Plan? If Not, Let Agri Supply help you get one started:

A) Discuss the type of hazards that could affect your family. Know your home's vulnerability to storm surge, flooding and wind.
B) Determine escape routes from your home and places to meet.
C) Have an out-of-state friend as a family contact, so all your family members have a single point of contact.
D) Make a plan now for what to do with your pets if you need to evacuate.
E) Post emergency telephone numbers by your phones and make sure your children know how and when to call 911.
F) Check your insurance coverage, often flood damage is not covered by homeowners insurance.
G) Stock up on non-perishable emergency supplies and a good disaster supply kit.

Did you know that the biggest threat from most big storms is not WIND, it's WATER!?! Don’t drive into water covered roads. Less than 2 ft. of water can float a car! For more natural disaster preparedness info, visit www.stormstudy.com
