Gasket Sealant 100% Black Silicone. This 100% Silicone Black Gasket Sealant from DAP Inc. is a one component, acetoxy cure, 100% silicone rubber sealant that is ideal for mechanical repair and household use. It can be used for making gaskets on engine parts, cars, motorcycles, appliances, power yard equipment and more. It provides a waterproof seal, stays flexible and won?t crack, crumble or dry out. Once cured, it is unaffected by temperature extremes (-40°F to 400°F). It meets ASTM Specification C 920, Class 25, Type S, and Grade NS. It applies smoothly and easily and adheres to glass, most plastics and rubbers, most metals, painted surfaces, and fiberglass. It is ideal for forming gaskets on engine parts, cars, motorcycles, appliances and power yard equipment. It can be used on intake manifolds, water pumps, hose connections and rocker arm covers. It will protect electrical connections and grommets. You can seal vents, gutters, windshields (not for windshield cracks) and for weather stripping.
