5 Stars You will never own another nutcracker again

Kristen Smith from MA wrote (March 20, 2015):

I was using pliers from the garage to try and crack nuts but it was getting too challenging and I was tired of picking up nut shells that had popped all over the kitchen. My husband offered to buy me a nutcracker and I chose this one and I have never been happier. The solid cast iron mechanism is an example of brilliance in engineering - it is so simple but so perfect and requires very little physical effort. The genius is in the curved action of the cracking blade. Hazelnuts cracked immediately, as did pecans and filberts. Jumbo walnuts do not fit well due to their size but with some clever turns of the nut even those can be cracked, though not recommended on the label.
