Full-Time Assistant Head Cashier
Receives cash from customers or employees in payment for goods or services by performing the following duties. Also, serves as a back up in Lead Cashier's absence. Computes or re-computes bill, itemized lists, and tickets showing amount due. Verifies and balances daily sales receipts with cash register total. Search records to assist with reconciling posting errors, compares cash register totals with receipts to verify accuracy of transactions; adjusts errors and complaints. Prepares funds for deposit Approves merchandise sales to employees. Assists with training new cashiers, this includes Sales and Use Tax training. Assigns duties and examines work as required. This position will perform any and all other job duties as assigned.

Requirements: One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
