The Flotech centrifugal pumps from Agri Supply operate at ¾ horsepower with a motor voltage of 115/230. Like all suction pumps, it has an intake (1.25 inches) and a discharge (1 inch) to move and direct whatever liquids you need. Water pumps are good for irrigation systems or pumping out a basement, cleaning lines or draining a pool. Centrifugal pumps take the energy of the electric motor and transfer it to the water to get it moving where you want it.
Centrifugal pumps are electrically driven and good for continuous operation. Suction pumps offer a pulse-less flow.
Centrifugal pumps from Agri Supply use a rotating impeller to add energy to a fluid to create flow and move liquids through a pipe. Suction pumps such as centrifugal pumps create an area of low pressure so that liquids are ?sucked? into the pump and then discharged out the other end at a higher pressure. Water pumps can be set up to move water where you want it and to move water away from where you don't want it. Centrifugal water pumps are handy because they create a continuous flow without pulses.
Centrifugal pumps from hardware stores can create high flow rates at relatively low pressure. Our suction pumps have a 1.25-inch suction input with a 1-inch discharge and a max psi of 43. Water pumps are good for filling and draining areas, feeding spraying systems, cleaning irrigation lines and general fluid transfer.
