COSMO 3 PT Cement Mixer, 8 Cubic Foot Capacity
The COSMO 3-point cement mixer is ideal for farm and home use. With an 8 cubic feet capacity, you can mix your concrete and carry it to those hard to reach places. The MIXER 80 attaches to your Category 1 tractors with a 3-point hitch. The cement mixer hopper tub is constructed of 3 mm steel with no welded joints. The hopper is bolted together to protect internal parts from exposure and wear. The diameter of the loading mouth is 1.45 feet.
The cement mixture is hydraulically assisted with a 1-1/2 inch x 18 inch cylinder. The cylinder lifts the hopper up into position for mixing, and uses gravity to lower the hopper for dumping. Remote hydraulics are required for the use of this attachment.
The MIXER 80 comes with the PTO. It has a chain transmission drive of 10:1 and the drive is protected by steel sheath.

First off Agri Supply is fantastic and great with items and the shipping was spot on. Pricing could not be beat. Now as to the mixer itself, it works great but for those of you with small tractors here is were you will be a bit under with it. I installed this on a JD 1026R Series 1, The unit fit fine but had to shorten the PTO quite a bit, in fact it will pull apart when full lowered. It has to be set up in the dump mode in the most compact area to ensure you can dump. You will have to make a bushing to adapt the hydraulic cylinder top link to the tractor pin connector, not a real issue, just get some aluminum tube and cut to fit. Also will have to get a pin for the top link to mixer. The sub compact tractors while it will work, it will not do full rated capacity, the most you will be able to mix is 6ea 80lb sacks and that is pushing it, 5ea is about the real limit. This is due to the fact of the height of the three point hitch lift bars and the hydraulic cylinder. When dumping this is going to be the other issue, with the three point hitch all the way raised and the cylinder full extended the unit will not dump over to fully empty the drum, it will keep about a sack inside and will have to be pulled out with something like a garden hoe. I recently used mine to mix and pour over 8000 pounds of quikcrete for a slab, it work great considering I had to load / mix and the drive backwards up a hill to dump using my FEL to raise tractor front and level out to be able to dump. If my other tractor would have had rear hydraulics and been 4wd it would have worked better as has three times the ground clearance and CAT2 Three Point Hitch All in All it will work for sub compacts but do not expect to use it full capacity. Mine was a one off project and buying it was far better than what was quoted for job and I still have a nice piece of equipment left over. — Gregory from TN
