I use this as my main go to for pig pickings!

Being from NC and right in the middle of the western and eastern, I prefer this to anything around. It’s delicious on pork and chicken, or almost anything. Will continue to purchase to share with others. We travel in our motorhome full time and I always let others from all over try it.

I've been trying to create my on sauce for years and have come close, but was never completely happy with the end product. The recipe nailed it. Iwas was at my sister's wedding in up state NY and they did a whole pig and the sauce was the icing on the cake.

My pops always had this stuff when I was growing up and I have always loved it! I have since moved away from the east coast and haven’t had any for years! I’ve tried to recreate it and it just never came out the same. I thought to try and find it online and here it was in a most unlikely store! I went ahead and got two bags and sent one to my Dad, as well. Thank you for having it and supporting your locals! If you seek proper NC bbq spices, this is what you want. It’s also awesome on chicken. I live in the midwest now and NO one has NC style around here and it’s my favorite (we all know it’s the best). Beyond excited to have some again!

For those that grew up in Eastern NC and have experienced pork BBQ east of I-95, you'll recognize this taste once you add it to a gallon of vinegar. I tweak my recipe just a little. I use 50:50 ratio of White Vinegar : Cider Vinegar. I mix the sauce pack really well and then cut it 50%. I pour this into the 50:50 vinegar mix then add 1/2 cup of Texas Pete hot sauce and 1/4 cup of brown sugar. Heating this mix up offers the best results. Allow to cool then pour into sauce bottles, mason jar or back into the gallon jug. Stores well for up to 6-months. Enjoy!

My mom grew up in Eastern Carolina, and every family reunion we would smoke a full pig and use this mixture as our BBQ sauce. It’s heaven in a bag. We lost my mom 5 years ago, and every time I eat BBQ with this sauce, it brings me back to sitting by the Neuse River eating BBQ with her.

If you don't know how (or if you do know how)to make Bar-B-Que sauce, this is the better way to go. I don't know how, and when I make this sauce, my friends think, I am the Bomb. It is really good.

bought this sauce mix because it seemed easy enough and I didn't feel like starting from scratch. it has a great flavor and is a great vinegar base sauce . It went well with my pork butt BBQ . I will use this mix again for the cost and time it is a great bargain .

I used to make my own sauce, and then I found Charlie. Mine is still good but I think this has a slight edge! Awesome on pulled or chopped pork, but also great on grilled or oven baked chicken. Baste or shake on often! Heat and add some butter for chicken or turkey. For all the great values at ASC, this one's about a dollar higher than the market price, assuming you know where to find it. Also, Larry must not be from around here, bless his heart.

I think this should be described as a mop sauce or marinade sauce for tenderizing the meat and adding flavor to the meat before putting it on the pit. Don't expect it to be a tomato based BBQ sauce when you mix it with a gallon of apple cider vinegar . I was refunded my money. Thanks Agrisupply..

This is just like the sauce I grew up with in NC! My son's love it.:-)!

I use this a lot when I make my pulled pork. Family and friend all ask about it. They want some to use at there cookouts.
