Great back saving investment

Bought this scoop based on reviews and it has not let me down. Dug out a 100x10' driveway 4"deep in a out 4 hours with a 18hp Duetz tractor. It does max out the tractor but I can foresee other uses like hauling wood for burning and tools around the place. I did mount a return spring for the dump latch that makes reset much easier. I also had to raise the 3pt hitch up as high as possible to clean dump the scoop. Great item in place of your back, also to note took advice of others adding spacer washers at pivot point of scoop. Special thanks to people at Agri Supply for ease of purchase and for holding the last one in stock till I got there

Reversible

We bought both this scoop and the heavier King Kutter reversible scoop for different tractors. This one is more lightly built than the King Kutter for sure, but still nicely made and solid. This scoop is in fact reversible with the addition of a couple of pins in the holes that already exist on the reverse side. I don’t think I would use it for digging up rocks as we will with the King Kutter but it will work great for moving mulch and top soil.

Amazing for Moving Dirt
This shopper rated the product 5 out of 5 stars

Got a load of dirt to fill in a low spot in the yard. Sadly with all the rain we have been having, the truck had to dump it 30 ft away from where I needed it. The thought of dragging it with the tractor blade was not possible, so I decided to give this dirt scoop a try. All I can say is this thing is amazing! Took a 7 ft mound of dirt down to level within 2 hours. The dump mechanism does take a little bit of a learning curve to get things to operate smoothly, but other than that, great product.

4 year follow up

Several years ago I bought this from Agri-Supply. It was worked/held up great. Durable finish. The bucket has held up to mulch, gravel, road millings, and dirt, and the scoop looks next to new, even being stored outside. Others are right- the fine tunuing mechanisms could use some refinement, but nothing that can't be fabricated at home. Best $300 I have spent on garden equipment!

Could not be happier. Works like a charm on my MF 1020. The issue with the adjustment screw moving posted by another customer was solved with a drop of Loctite. Price was great. Dispatched with 7 yards of topsoil in a day. Bucket release mechanism works fine - I applied some grease during assembly. Release easily and cleanly. Paid for itself on the first job.

happy and suprised

I bought this scoop to move crusher dust and top soil around the farm with my small tractor. I was very impressed from the start. It was delivered quickly and crated like fort knox. It assembled easily and looked great. The welds are good and everything is square and works. The bucket release mechanism takes a little fine tuning and the adjustment screw will move as u work the scoop but overall it works great. It's not a hydraulic bucket and won't replace it, but for small loads or tight locations it is a must have. I don't recommend many products from China, but this one is an exception especially for the price. Definately get the 30 inch.

30 inch dirt scoop

good cheap dirt scoop. The key to success is knowing how you are going to use it before you decide on a model. I bought this for a john deere x728 for hauling mulch and it works great. This is a lightweight chinese scoop, and with the limited lift capacity (weight and height)of my small garden tractor, it was perfect. I did NOT want a heavy gauge metal scoop, as I am using it for mulch and loose dirt. I would not attempt to use it to grade or dig into hard soil with a big tractor. Get a box blade, loosen it up, and then move it with the scoop. I also recommend the 30 inch scoop over the 24. Not a lot heavier, similar dimensions(other than the width), but holds more. I fretted over 24 vs. 30 for my small tractor (google x728 to see how small it is compared to most tractors you see dirt scoops on), but am happy with the 30 inch choice. Overall finish quality okay. welds okay, good basic powdercoat (should last ok), and if you were going to abuse it, and had welding capability, you could reinforce the bucket as
