Use it for all my different sprayers and 12 volt accessories used with your auto as well as your lawn and garden implements.
Great concept and the device works well, but I wish the "on" and "off" buttons were larger size. I wear protective gloves while spraying my hay fields and it's not always easy to manipulate the small buttons while driving the tractor.
I put my ATV spot/boom sprayer on wheels and thought this would be a great accessory. Works great! 5 STARS
Purchased to have control over spray boom from seat. Product worked great for several months, then water penetrated the unit around wire harness and destroyed electronics. Ordered replacement and sealed with silicone, hopefully this will correct the issue. Careful placement of unit to prevent contact with liquids associated with spray operations should be considered. I only rate it a 4 star due to the lack of being water proof, unit should be water proof not water resistant for designated use.
If you're attaching this to a Fimco device, you're all set. For anything else, you need to know which lead (black or red) goes to the positive side of your source battery. If you guess wrong, you fry the unit! It would nice to have a "+" or "-" or a package insert to tell the consumer which is which.
Just disconnect the power quick disconnects from your sprayer motor, insert the Wireless Remote Control Receiver Module, and reconnect the power quick disconnects to the Receiver and your done! Could not be easier. I attach the small Remote Control Transmitter with its small clip on chain to my shirt or overalls and away we go. The lightweight Transmitter has an ON button and an OFF button along with a sliding guard to prevent unintended activation. Easy. My Sprayer Motor is about 9 feet front my driver seat. Works every time as my Transmitter works up to about 60 feet away by my tests. It does not matter that it will not work at 250 feet as claimed. When properly installed, this device should work for everyone. At $20 you probably will not find an easier or better solution. My only regret is that I did not buy this years ago.
