Quick Venison Rotini Soup

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb. ground venison
  • 1 can (16 oz.) whole tomatoes, cut up (keep the juice!)
  • 4 cups water
  • 1 tbsp. sugar
  • 1 can (8 oz.) tomato sauce
  • 1 tbsp. instant minced onion
  • 1 packet chili seasoning mix
  • 1 pkg. frozen mixed vegetables
  • 1 tbsp. dried chives (optional)
  • 1-1/2 cups uncooked rotini noodles
  • 1 cup dairy sour cream (optional)

Instructions:

  • Ina Dutch oven, brown your meat over a medium heat, stirringoccasionally. Drain as needed.
  • Stir in tomatoes and juice, tomato sauceand chili seasoning mix.
  • Add water, rotini, vegetables, onion andsugar.
  • Mix well.
  • Heat to boiling. Reduce heat and cover.
  • Simmer 10-15minutes until rotini is tender.
  • In a small mixing bowl, blend sourcream and chives.
  • Serve with soup as garnish. Serves 6-8.
