Shrimp Fried Rice
Made with a blend of fresh grated garlic & ginger, our version of fried rice is perfect for lunch, dinner or your new go-to side dish. A must for anyone who loves Asian cuisine, this recipe offers up beautiful colors & golden rice. With a balance of Carolina Cooker® seasonings & succulent shrimp, we think you'll agree this tastes better than takeout!
Ingredients:
- 1 cup diced Carrots
- 1 cup diced Scallions
- 1 cup Peas
- 1 lb Shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 tbsp Sugar
- 2 tbsp Soy Sauce
- 1 tbsp grated Garlic
- 1 tbsp grated Ginger
- 4 cups cooked Rice
- 3 Eggs beaten
Directions:
- Heat oil in a skillet over medium high heat and add shrimp
- Allow to saute for 2-3 minutes on one side and flip. Saute for an additional 2-3 minutes and remove to a bowl.
- Add carrots and scallions to the skillet and saute
- Once carrots are almost cooked through, add in eggs and stir to scramble
- Once eggs start to come together add rice in and stir well
- As the rice starts to toast, add in sugar, soy sauce, garlic, ginger and peas and stir
- When everything is warm and combined, top with shrimp and serve
