The latest addition to the Carolina Cooker® family and inspired by years of tradition, our polished cast iron seeks to capture the same great cooking surface as our original cast iron, but with a satin-smooth finish. Similar to our regular cast iron, this piece of cookware is suitable for both indoor and outdoor kitchens. Regardless of your source of heat, from the stovetop to the campfire, our cast iron has great heat distribution, making it perfect for searing and browning. The grinding and polishing of cast iron to produce a smooth surface create a non-stick feature that matures and strengthens over time with each use. Due to the ground-down and burnished top layer, our polished cast iron cookware is slightly lighter than its regular cast iron counterparts. A pre-seasoned blend of grape seed and soybean oil gives his cookware a classic bronze appearance, making it a stylish and functional piece to feature in any kitchen.
