The exterior features a polypropylene constructed case which is lightweight and durable. There is a flush cover that prevents acid spillage for a safer operation. Today 8/5/23, Just purchased this battery to replace the exact same that I bought at Agri Supply in April of 2019. 4-5yrs use is rarely heard for even the top leading, expensive brands. Great battery!
