14 In. Single Moldboard Plow, 3 Point Hitch
Also known as a turning plow, due to the turning and rotating of the soil, this single moldboard measures 14 inches. When bringing fresh soil to the surface, it also buries old crop residue to enable healthy decomposition. The frame is constructed from steel and measures 1 in. x 4 in., and is powder coated for a durable finish for conditions out in the fields. This moldboard plow has a 3 point category 1 hitch with lift pins and may be used with a tractor that has a horsepower of 18 to 35.

Shipping & Returns
Shipping & Return PolicyI have used one of these single bottom plows for my large garden over the past several growing seasons on a Ford 8N tractor. I have been very pleased with how well it plows. It does a great job turning soil if the tractor is properly adjusted and the plowshare is new, even in challenging clay soil. It hasn’t broken and gets the job done. Mine did arrive unassembled but AgriSupply said that was abnormal and got me the directions, with assembly being pretty easy. The plowshares are made of pretty soft metal, I get about 1-2 seasons out of them before they’re bent beyond use, but that keeps the plow itself from being damaged so I don’t mind buying them from AgriSupply at their very reasonable price. What I do mind is the manufacturer’s choice of bolt to secure the plowshare. It’s a 1/2” by 1-1/2” coarse countersunk (flat/flush) Phillips head machine screw, which is unobtainable at local hardware stores, and which only last me a few seasons. AgriSupply says a carriage bolt will work, but I didn’t like the fit and finish of that solution and had to order ten matching (albeit straight slotted not Phillips) stainless machine screws Grainger at considerable cost. I wish the manufacturer had used a more common size or designed for use of a carriage bolt (there’s no square hole for it to sit in so the carriage bolt can’t easily be tightened). — Josh from MD
