The swivel knives on the Bellonmit 53 Inch Side Drum Mower TFL 1350 retreat when meeting an obstacle.  The lower disc allows cutting to follow the ground contour so the mower is independent of the tractor's axle.  The drum mower folds up manually for the correct weight distribution when traveling.
