I've owned Montezuma and I've owned a Storsmart now for about 3 years. The lid design is overall better and box is easier to access with the way the lid opens. No shocks to worry with like the Montezuma. I like the Storsmart good enough that I just bought another. I'd recommend this box over Montezuma and it's not near the cost. Overall even the wrench holders and socket holders are much more durable in this box.
