NPT Breather Plug, 1/2-Inch

Relieve pressure from housing units of bearings or within gearboxes by installing this breather plug. It is designed with a filter that creates an open airflow from the heavy pressure parts. The filter pushes in one direction which works to eliminate the trapped pressure. This breather vent plug is constructed from brass and features a hexagonal shaped head to assure a more stable grip when tightening and loosening this part. The tapered thread measures 1/2 inch in diameter.
