Cabot Problem-Solver acrylic primer is an acrylic-based exterior primer specially formulated with LokzAll stain locking technology. This unique formula chemically bonds with extractive tannin bleed and locks unsightly discoloration into the primer, delivering a protected surface ready to be top-coated. The advanced chemistry also provides superior resistance to mildew stains and moisture problems. The flexible acrylic formula resists cracking, peeling, and blistering. It is recommended for use on new or previously stained surfaces, including wood siding, trim, shingles, decks, plywood, manufactured hardboard, engineered wood products, cured stucco, masonry, brick, and cementitious siding. It is suitable for application on smooth or rough-sawn surfaces and various wood species such as redwood, red cedar, fir, pine, cypress, spruce, and incense cedar.
