Tarter® Calf Creep Feeder, 650 Lb. Capacity
New mother calves can not always give their newborns the nutrients they may need. A popular way to solve this problem is to practice creep feeding, which will provide supplemental feed to counteract nutrient deficiency and maximize growth. This Tarter calf creeper feeder, made of 1-3/8 in. square tubing, holds up to 650 lbs. of feed.
A gate surrounds the metal feeder, offering access to only small calves that will fit through the gate's gaps to the poly trough. A red, signature Tarter E-coat finish covers the feeder, which will allow longer life and corrosion resistance. An adjustable gate bar can be raised or lowered with growing calves.
