The EasyHeat EH38 Pre-Set Thermostat is designed to automatically activate heating cables when temperatures drop, preventing pipes from freezing in residential applications. It energizes connected heating cables when the ambient temperature falls below 38°F and automatically powers off when the temperature reaches 50°F, eliminating the need to manually unplug cables each spring. Featuring a built-in power indicator light to verify operational status, this thermostat integrates seamlessly with Freeze Free self-regulating pipe heating cables and can also control other electrical devices requiring freeze protection.
