The Eaton Wiring Motion Sensor Switch with Nightlight and LED uses advanced Passive Infrared (PIR) technology to sense the movement of heat-emitting bodies within a room. Designed for convenience and energy efficiency, the occupancy sensor automatically turns lights off after a space becomes vacant and a preset time delay has elapsed. The switch provides both auto-On/Off and manual-On/auto-Off operating modes with a simple press and hold of the push pad, along with a selectable ambient light override to prevent switching when natural light is sufficient. Featuring versatile wiring compatibility, this switch can be installed in 1-pole single-location or 3-way multi-location configurations and works with all major lighting load types including LED, CFL, incandescent, MLV, ELV, and fluorescent. An integrated, dimmable LED nightlight provides soft illumination in dark areas, while the green LED indicates load status and motion detection. Designed to fit standard decorator-style wallplates, it delivers reliable operation with electrostatic discharge protection and zero off-state load leakage.
