The Forney specialty welding electrode features a non-conductive coating specially developed for welding dirty, heat-affected, and oxidized cast iron. It is ideally suited for cladding contaminated castings prior to joining with high-nickel alloys. This non-machinable electrode is suitable for maintenance and repair on machine bases, pedestals, frames, and housings where heat and machinability are not primary factors.
