The Forney 5/32 in. Mild Steel Welding Rod is an all-position, general-purpose electrode engineered with medium to shallow penetration for welding on all types of mild steel. It provides excellent arc initiation, soft and stable arc characteristics, low spatter, and medium-to-heavy slag that is easily removed, making it an ideal choice for poorly fitted joints. Well-suited for welding thin materials at low amperage, this stick electrode performs reliably on light gauge metal, sheet metal, and duct work. It is designed to operate smoothly with AC, DCEP, or DCEN polarity configurations.
