Freud 1-7/8 in. Precision Shear Forstner Bit

The Freud 1-7/8 in. Precision Shear Forstner Bit features a double-ground, razor-sharp serrated edge that slices throughout the rotation of the bit for less splintering and chipping, producing smooth, flat-bottom holes. Its unique geometric design incorporates multiple cutting edges to generate greater shearing action, enabling faster rotational speeds and more efficient cutting performance. Engineered for durability and precision, this bit resists heat and friction buildup during demanding woodworking tasks. The sharp cutting geometry ensures smooth hole edges and clean chip removal, making it ideal for drilling flat-bottom, overlapping, or pocket holes.
