Freud 2 in. Precision Shear Forstner Bit

The Freud 2 in. Precision Shear Forstner Bit features a double-ground, razor-sharp serrated edge that slices throughout the rotation of the bit for less splintering and chipping, producing clean, flat-bottom holes. Its unique geometric design utilizes multiple cutting edges that produce greater shearing action, allowing for faster rotational speeds and more efficient cutting in woodworking applications. Unlike conventional designs that produce dust and fine chips that increase friction and heat, this bit creates chisel-like curls for rapid, clean chip removal. Quality forged construction provides extended cutting life and durability, while the ultra-sharp center spur ensures precise hole placement without wandering.
