Freud 3/8 in. Precision Shear Forstner Bit

The Freud 3/8 in. Precision Shear Forstner Bit features a double-ground, razor-sharp serrated edge that slices throughout the rotation of the bit for less splintering and chipping, producing clean, flat-bottom holes. Its unique geometric design incorporates multiple cutting edges to generate greater shearing action, allowing for faster rotational speeds and more efficient wood cutting. Built with quality forged construction for extended tool life, this bit features an ultra-sharp center spur to ensure an accurate starting hole without walking. The steep angled cutting edges produce smooth, flat holes while creating chisel-like curls for fast and clean chip clearance during heavy-duty woodworking applications.
