Freud 7/8 in. Precision Shear Forstner Bit

The Freud 7/8 in. Precision Shear Forstner Bit features a double-ground, razor-sharp serrated edge that slices throughout the rotation of the bit for less splintering and chipping, producing flawless flat-bottom holes. Its unique geometric design provides multiple cutting edges that generate greater shearing action, enabling faster rotational speeds and more efficient cutting. Crafted with quality forged construction for extended life, this bit features an ultra-sharp spur to ensure accurate starting holes. Steep-angled cutting edges create chisel-like curls for fast, clean chip clearance while reducing heat and friction during operation.
