I selected this tank because of its rugged construction, other tanks I considered needed to be filled with water before burying to prevent crushing of the tank.
This tank will hold enough water to run my house for 10 days, I fill it once a week from my supply well (2 gpm) and draw water from the tank with a shallow well pump to run the house. My supply well does not produce enough water to run the shower, much less the shower and washing machine at the same time and this tank was a simple fix instead of drilling a 400 foot deep well.
