Use this latch kit with a hoist hook for rigging and lifting applications. This latch kit can be used with a carbon steel hook for 3 ton loads and an alloy steel hook for 4.5 ton loads. Overall this hoist hook latch kit is zinc plated.
Product Overview
Attach this device to a hook for additional support when lifting loads. It is compatible for use with a carbon steel hook up to a 3 ton weight capacity, and with an alloy steel hook up to a 4.5 ton weight capacity. As a safety precaution, be sure the hook latch kit is not distorted or bent prior to use. Also, the hook must always support the load, the latch can never support the load.
