Kurki Machete with Sheath

A good well made tool however, the sheath leaves a great deal to be desired but for the price I can forgive the sheath. I would have liked a little thicker blade with a thicker spine, but again, for the price. Works well clearing cat claw vines and other underbrush. Reasonably sharp but will need to be touched up. The 4 stars is because of the sheath

I bought one of these earlier this week to replace a standard straight machete that I've had for years that I just hate. I used the new one today to chop down some elephant ear plants that are not dealing well with the cooler temps. This things is stupendous. I'm disabled and I've got arthritis in my hands and I still feel like it worked great. Great overall feeling of stiffness and cutting ability. It cut through the stalks, some which were 5 inches across, like they were dandelions. The forward weighted blade helps put the cut into the stalk, not into flopping around like my old blade did. The one problem I thought it had was the handle, it's just too narrow for my big hands. I wrapped mine with 550 cord and it fixed the problem. I plan on putting a lanyard on the preformed hole in the handle for safety. The nylon scabbard is a little cheap, but it would still last for many years, unless you're using the machete on a daily basis for killing those pesky zombies!
