LADY GARDENER SHOVEL D-HANDLE SHORT

My 70-something mother has had a shovel similar to this for a couple decades. It’s been sharpened and refurbished a hundred times, the handle was replaced at least twice, and it’s be been looking for a replacement for 10 years. Mom is 4’9” so the shovel head size is non negotiable. I found a similar head and put it on the old handle, but it made her lift her knee to get her foot on it an inch or two too high and threw her knee out for a week and made her whole body sore. She’d rather dig with me than watch me dig, so we’ve tried a LOT of alternates. Last week she came to me crying because the old blade finally split up the middle to the handle. I said I’d look one more time and spent a day searching and found AgriSupply’s Lady Gardener. Let me tell you it came 20 minutes ago and she’s so happy! It already has dirt on it and it’s perfect!
