Product Overview

Lawn sweepers are used as a more accessible option than baggers when mowing your lawn. This Ohio Steel Industries 50 in. Lawn Sweeper has an extra wide sweep path with a 26 cubic ft. hopper capacity. It has a 4-prong adjustable hitch, allowing it to have a custom fit to most tractors and an efficient, level sweeper. This adjustment hitch also has a no-slip positive lock height, so that the height of the sweeper will not slip out from vibrations during use.

This extra wide lawn sweeper has a large chute opening that makes it less likely to clog, even when mowing damp grass, leaves, or clippings, allowing you to work all season long. The heavy duty collector bag can also collapse for storage. Its sealed ball bearings on a spiral brush axle gives this lawn sweeper an extended life compared to other brands. With easy assembly and parts that can be quickly replaced, this lawn sweeper will surely become an essential in your lawn care routine.

best sweeper going

I bought my 50" sweeper some 10-12 years since. I have four acreas with bountiful oaks and gumball trees. i have used and abuse this tool and it keeps on kickin. This year is the first time to replace parts, that is the hopper bag. I didnt need to replace any metal parts but chose to do so on some. Hopper bag shipped without delay, replaced bagger in short time, no issues. What i would like to have is a detatcher to fit on the brushes to pick up pine cones and gumballs. no such luck. Maybe someday mfg will get the message. — hohum from TX

Typically we rake our leaves a couple of times in the fall but this year we let them pile up unraked until January. They were deep and the bottom layer was very wet. Due to the depth of the leaves I had to start with a higher setting to start out and then went back over twice more lowering the sweeper each time. The final result was great, I never expected a sweeper to do so well. Needless to say next leaf season I'll get them up as they fall because the sweeper is so easy to use!
