I have both the short and long version of the Kukri machete but prefer the longer one because it seems to slice through vines and reeds easier than the shorter one. Only things I didn’t care for are the sheath can be a bit better after sharpening it real well. The other thing was when sharpened by manufacturer, the bevel is off center and not the best job. I little bit of file work and you can shave with them though! I will be buying more to have, before you can’t find them!
