This 1 1/2" plastic male adapter is 1 1/2" Male NPT - (Pipe threads) on one end and a 1 1/2" hose barb on the opposite end. Connect polyethylene tubing, (black plastic pipe) to hose barb and use hose clamps to secure pipe to the adapter. It is for cold water applications.
