There is a central hexagonal shape on this pipe nipple, with dual male ends that extend from this central location. Both of these ends are threaded to provide a secured fit with its fastener. These male pipe nipple sizes do not have exact lengths. The first NPT length measures 1/2 inch in length and second NPT length measures 3/8 inch in length.
