PTO Slip Clutch, 1-3/8" Smooth Male, 1-3/8" Smooth Female

This Eurocardan ® PTO slip clutch has a 1-3/8" smooth male x 1-3/8" smooth female end that is ideal for use in replacing the shear pin system on rotary cutters to a slip clutch. The slip clutch is a friction clutch that is made to slip when the torque is too great for the implement. This slip clutch attaches to the implement and if something is hit by the mower or tiller it slips to keep from damaging the gear box on the implement. This Eurocardan ® slip clutch is recommended for use up to the series 6 on metric drive line shafts. Always attach the slip clutch to the equipment side of the PTO shaft and not on the tractor side because the exposed springs on the clutch can pose a danger to the operator.
