This Eurocardan ® PTO slip clutch has a 1-3/8" smooth male by 1-3/8" smooth female end. This clutch will work great in changing out the shear pin system on rotary cutters.

Product Overview
This Eurocardan ® PTO slip clutch has a 1-3/8" smooth male x 1-3/8" smooth female end that is ideal for use in replacing the shear pin system on rotary cutters to a slip clutch. The slip clutch is a friction clutch that is made to slip when the torque is too great for the implement. This slip clutch attaches to the implement and if something is hit by the mower or tiller it slips to keep from damaging the gear box on the implement. This Eurocardan ® slip clutch is recommended for use up to the series 6 on metric drive line shafts. Always attach the slip clutch to the equipment side of the PTO shaft and not on the tractor side because the exposed springs on the clutch can pose a danger to the operator.

We have 70 hp kubota that we use our place approxx 55 acers before installing the clutch we would replace at least 10 shear pins every time we bush hog 4 times year since installing the clutch have replaced none even tried my luck hitting few things that i know would have sheared but it never missed lick / thanks

I bought one of these from Agri-Supply in 2005 and has held up to a lot of rough cutting use until today 7-24-2014 ,finally broke the front shaft,Will order another if the part is not available.Excellent product
