Product Overview

This new QCC (quadrupole coupling constant) 1 quick connect propane fitting features excess flow protection. This means excess flow valves are intended to close upon excessive discharge of vapor or liquid resulting from a break in the hose or piping system. They are used to protect cylinder, tank and piping systems, and are available in a large variety of sizes and body configurations. The QCC nut is a heat treated nut that is sensible to heat, meaning it will automatically shut off if there is a fire.
