I bought this product to go on the bottom of a firefighter Gear Rack/Holder. This object roughly weighs in around 300 pounds empty with no gear on it. The wheels worked great with moving it around. The locks that did work, really dug in, and held it in place.
Leading to the reason for a 4 star review. I had 2 out of 8 that I bought, gave difficulty getting the brake to stay engaged. The second part would be, during transport of this "rack" on a trailer the rubber tire (inch or more thick) itself split and came completely off the metal rim. Not sure of the cause but now I'm having to order a replacement on online because of the Greenville NC store has not restocked since I bought the last set over 2 weeks ago.
The take away from all this, I really like these casters, and will be buying more for future projects. Also half the price of any where else that I looked!
