The Sharkbite 1/2 in. x 8 in. Frost-Free Sillcock protects outdoor water supplies from freezing conditions and backflow contamination. Designed with an integrated push-to-connect inlet and a shut-off mechanism located inside the wall, it drains standing water automatically to prevent freezing and burst pipes. The built-in vacuum breaker prevents contaminated water from siphoning back into the potable water line. Constructed with a durable brass body, this valve is compatible with PEX, copper, CPVC, PE-RT, and HDPE pipes. The push-to-connect design allows for fast installation in tight spaces without requiring special tools, crimping, glue, or soldering. An integrated mounting flange secures the valve firmly to the exterior wall.
