Not really squirrel proof. you have to make it that way!
This shopper rated the product 5 out of 5 stars

Got two of them, one on a shepards hook, and one on a plant hook mounted to the wooden fence. they jump on top of the feeder and hang down from the top and feed. My dog loves to chase them off. Fun to watch anyway.

Excellent Product
This shopper rated the product 5 out of 5 stars

Picture doesn't do this one justice. Finally found one to allow me to feed the birds instead of the squirrels. Well made construction and appealing to display in the yard. Recommend pole mounting if using full seed capacity.
