A great value! What are other users finding is the optimal height to mount the tank above the wicks?

Very good product! I started going forward but realized it was leaving tracks of herbicide on my good grass so I reversed for application. This works ok, but I made a mount for the 2” rear sleeve hitch on my side by side and cured that.

I had read complaining reviews on other websites about the wicks dripping. Yes, they drip when they are saturated after being replenished from the supply tube but that means they are working. My only challenge was how to calibrate for application of the chemical. I knew the area and the chemical rate I wanted to apply so I just zig zagged over the area until it was gone.

This is just an idea. Instead of mounting to your FEL, mount these tubes to a three point hitch implement or a tool bar allowing room to raise above your fescue. At that point the tractor tires wont be a factor in tracking the chemicals as the wicks will be behind the tractor spreading the product. May require making a bracket to get the elevation you might need.

I bought two of these 5ft units. Mounted them on the front-end loader of my tractor and wick Johnson Grass in Hay Fields using Glyphoste (mixed it at a high rate)it worked good, if you're careful you won't kill the fescue or other grass growing below the Johnson Grass. One problem is that the tractor tires will carry some into the grass after running over the Johnson Grass. But this isn't a big problem I don't see how it can be prevented.
