Tarter ® S-bar hay feeder is perfect to feed your cattle round bales of hay. The galvanized steel hay feeder is 8 foot in diameter and has S-bar construction. The S-bar design and hay saver help prevent young cattle from climbing into the feeder. Feet prevent the feeder from resting on the ground and helps resist corrosion.

Needs adjustments

One week ago I bought this hay saver ring mostly because I have 1400 lb average size cows they’re tall and when I use the shorter rings they pick the rings up with their necks and move them off the hay causing waste . Now if the Red Hay saver was as tall as this galvanized one with the whole ring without legs sitting on the ground you would have the perfect hay ring for short or tall cows,the metal ban is perfect for saving hay which means saving money
