best deal I found, almost perfect
This shopper rated the product 4 out of 5 stars

I am rebuilding an old log splitter. Shopped on line for a new pump and this seemed to be the best deal. Placed the order over the phone. Friendly and knowledgeable service, had it in two days. One complication, the inlet side is intended for a one inch tube which is stated in the description but I overlooked. My old pump and supply hose have one inch NPT fittings. The tube fitting on the new pump has a much finer thread into the body of the pump. I called to ask if they sold any type adapter to address the situation. I was on hold for a long time. To be fair, it was a Monday morning. When I finally got through I found out that they do not offer an adapter. I was hoping they had a nipple with the fine thread on one end and NPT on the other. That would have earned five stars. I am confident that I will be able to cob something together to make it work, just a time consuming inconvenience. The better solution would be to supply the pump with NPT threaded inlet hole and provide or offer a tube fitting that would thread into it. That would be a direct replacement for people with old pumps like mine and work for customers with either application.
