Varathane 1 qt. Charred Wood Accelerator

Varathane Charred Wood Accelerator creates a weathered, charred black appearance on bare or untreated wood. It replicates the natural charring process by reacting with the tannins in the wood to create a unique, one-of-a-kind blackened char color. Formulated for interior use, this low-odor, water-based formula imitates the effect of torched wood finishes without an open flame. The final appearance varies naturally based on wood species, providing a custom finish with easy soap and water cleanup.
