This is a great little "invention"!
You can hook up to separate burner units, like a stove top 2-3 station burner & also a cooker burner, both from the same propane tank. This is for 2 burners off of one propane tank, it is NOT a coupler to put two tanks together!
This goes into my cooking hardware set as a real needed piece of equipment when I can't transport multiple propane tanks to a camp/cooking site.
This little adapter is worth every penny.
Plus if you only need one side, the other side stays sealed shut until you connect another burner/device.
