Product Overview

Great for releasing the milk of cream corn kernels and offering children a less messy alternative to corn on the cob, this corn cutter is a great addition to any kitchen. Using the original design from 1939, it includes a hardwood base with stainless steel blades and components. The blades can be adjusted to either shred the corn or remove whole kernel from a cooked cob. An essential to making homemade cream corn, this 17 in. long shredder is best used when leaned against a dish pan, baking dish, or your counter's back splash.

This is the same corn cutter that I watched my mother and grandmother use back in the ‘60s and ‘70s. So as soon as I moved out on my own, I went out and bought one. In the nearly 40 years since then, that thing has cut many thousands of ears of corn, and it still works as good as new!

This is my new favorite kitchen "gadget". I've used it half a dozen times in the past couple weeks as the corn is tall and tasty. It does everything I could have ever dreamed of in a corn cutter. I like to roast my corn before I freeze it and in years past I had a mess all over the kitchen trying to get it off the cob, but with this I've cut a dozen ears in about 5 minutes with NO MESS!! YIPPEEE!!! I'm going to order one of these for my daughter. And I've got a friend who teaches young women how to put up food; I'm going to tell her to get one of these as a "graduation" present for each of her students.
