Canner Jar Rack for GraniteWare 21.5 Qt.

An important part of canning preserves is to use very warm or hot jars. Freshly cooked preserves with be hot, and adding hot contents to a cold jar could cause it to crack from the heat. This canning rack allows you to boil water in the 21.5 qt. canner, sold separately, place the jars on the rack above the steam and conceal the canner with the lid. The rack has contoured handles that securely clip over the sides of the pot. This jar rack can hold 7 quart sized jars, 9 pint sized jars, or 13 half pint sized jars. The jars will be stable for you to spoon in jam or jelly without having to hold a hot jar. This canner jar rack is also dishwasher safe.
