Log Splitter, 3 Point Hitch, 25 Ton

Quality of product was excellent, ordered extra hoses and connectors but also received a set with the machine. Delivery company was excellent. Very satisfied with the entire experience.

First off it is very good quality for the price. It is a blessing not to have to fool around with another engine! But do make sure your tractor has a fast pump because it will be slow like mine nothing to do with the splitter just to our pump. We have a LS 4140 40hp but for some reason the company put a slow pump on it. Do note you will have to rev your tractor probably between 1500-2000 to get best results you don’t have to but in your case that worked the best. Have put 200 pounds log pieces 30” diameter and it goes right through without a problem. Also it was already put together. Other’s said they got a crate and had to put it together but I didn’t and it came with hoses and fittings in my case. Make sure you look at it when purchased then go in and get the hoses if needed. Don’t do what I did and buy the hoses and splitter at the same time, saves time not having to return stuff! Hope this helps!

As other reviewers stated, Agri Supply keeps these outside with the other 3pt implements. Problem is that it is packed in a wooden and cardboard crate that, by the time I got mine, was molded, rotten and water soaked. The directions fell apart and the rotten cardboard pealed away. Fortunately, the log splitter is pretty stout and the only sign of abuse was a little bit of corrosion starting on one zinc pin. Overall the paint and finish is good. This is a copy of a tried and tested design, so no worries there. Build quality is good and it is working well for me. It does not come with hoses, so for my setup I needed 10' hoses and fittings. Budget $100 for that.

Decided to get the splitter because my old one (me) was tired. I put it together with little complications. Tried it out on maple, red oak, apple, and seasoned honey locust with no problems. The only con that I had was with packaging. The crate and cardboard box had been left out in the weather, which is no biggie, but the instructions had gotten wet and were useless. Would suggest the manufacturer put it in a plastic bag for protection. I was able to find the instruction manual online after some serious searching. If you do need to go online, use the model # in the search. I am using a 28hp mahindra at 1500 rpm with no problems at all. The closest splitter I found price wise was from powerhorse but they didn't have a stand. Hope this helps someone.

I shopped around, and found this log splitter to replace my old one, at a better price than I could find locally. Even with the shipping, it was a better deal. This machine works great so far, only split a little bit to try it out, but seems to work good. I would recommend this to anyone that needs one. Thank you Agri Supply.
