421S Solo Portable Hand Spreader, The 421S portable spreader is designed for spreading a variety of materials over irregular terrain more evenly and conveniently than a wheeled spreader. It is constructed of non-rusting, rugged polyethylene for increased durability and easier cleaning, the 421S has convenient fingertip controls for volume and direction. It has a large six inch filler opening and screw-on top to prevent spillage and protect the operator from chemicals and dust. The agitator allows material to drop onto the impeller evenly, improving uniformity of spread and eliminating blockages. The spreader has a capacity up to 20 lbs. of seed, fertilizer, pelletized materials, and sand or ice melter. The spreader is adjustable for drop rate and direction. It is crank handle operated, and has a fully enclosed gear box with lubricated metal gears to assure long life and durability. It has padded strap with comfortable, cross-shoulder design and a 6" opening with screw-on cap. The hopper stands upright whether empty or full.
